WTF happened to the netcode?
netcode was mostly fine during beta and launch but now in every game i get 30fps stutter from the start or from the second round. pretty much unplayable at this point. hope this gets fixed.

Looks like this was some issue with either windows addressing my monitor with 59.95Hz or not running in a 16:9 format I guess. Switched from 60Hz/16:10 to 120Hz/16:9 monitor and the issue is gone now.

This may be an eyeopener to many

I have been adressing these variables many times and all i got is smack.

1. Wifi?
2. Refresh rate holding you back.
3. A very old rig
4. On cable but downloading too many stuff.

Again im pretty mild in rooms i even fight red bar peeps. And i love it. In ranked i take orange and green only. But this is the thing green can become red cuz wifi dude experiencing package loss.

But thank u for putting it on here im very gratefull

proof that the netcode is broken

i am not suyre that is prove
if i would play even in a lanparty there is some delay the whole point of rollback is rollback
so the guy with delay is getting rewardzed and the one with the good connection has the rollback to keep up with the low connection

this has been a complain for like forever in streetfighter v there was actually someone who fixed it. but it cause people that didnt fix it with that mod to have the problem on their end
rollback is the best but u need an ideal environment
like i said i never understood the trend

ggpo delay based both get low connection

i mean what is wisdom?

here is someone who fixed it

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gC6qU9PCFD4

rollback however does keep some fluidity at both sides with ofcourse some delay for one party without him knowing unless the difference in connection and distance is huge

delaybased both get the lag

again i like ggpo better but im not sure that works for modern games

man i can talk so much but i never c++ed a netcode so im limited in knowledge. it would be silly of me to keep talking about it.

all with all i hope so much for u it will be more ideal. thats all i can say

This game has several issues with netplay, even with rollback netcode.

There is no validation of players' PC specs before going on ranked, so people who can't maintain framerate will play in ranked with reflections enabled and other nonsense.

There is no wifi indicator beyond watching the ping indicator fluctuate and making your own judgement before you accept the match. And you can watch it for the whole 20 seconds without it turning red because it might take just a bit longer for the first bit of packet loss to hit and cause a hitch. Because that all depends on when your opponent's neighbor decides to microwave a hot pocket.
