Will it have Denuvo?

Will this game have Denuvo DRM
Considering it’s published by Sega and pretty much all new titles published by them incorporate it

If it does, it's most likely only temporary anyway. Many developers remove Denuvo from their games once sales taper off or after a certain period.

Sega don't though. Last time I checked, Denuvo was still on Persona 4 Ultimax and that game launched in March 2022.

Their oldest Denuvo game as far as I know is Sonic Forces from 2017. Still has it, of course. Sega either has a special deal with Irdeto or a unique desire to burn their cash reserves.

I think it’s very different to keep Denuvo for single player games that sell long after premiere and completely different for online games when pirated copies are worthless.

Man, the game runs flawlessly on Deck, can get 60fps on my rx 7600 too (lowered res), but I worry denuvo will be the straw that breaks the camels back. This game really can’t afford frame dips.

I can asure u denuvo wont be a problem. Denuvo changed the way it does. Its a very minor micro ping that is so small that its a joke. They used to also do it everytime. But when your in game it just wont ping.
Denuvo behaves the way the one that orders it wants it to operate

Sega vf5 denuvo i dont think they will and i would be surprised. This is just an apperetive before vf6. Now vf6 would be more of a discussion

Dont worry ur rig will do fine with this game

Ys9 is better. All ys are good anyways ;)

Did not realize that about denuvo, thanks man. All i ever hear are horror stories about it, tho i was getting this day one regardless.

Ha, ive never beaten an Ys, played them growing up some but im dedicated this time. Monstrum Nox does look great, its funny though 8 still feels like "the new ys game" to me, idk where time went - theres already a 10

I b3lieve u. I mean lets face it stolen goods dont have blessings. I know peeps who would pirate ps1 games back in the day and they didnt finish games. The blessing is gone. If u buy it u cherish it

I don't have that problem. I used to emulate Final Fantasy Tictacs all the time.

Well we cant really talk openly on steam about this topic because of the eula. But lemme just say if u really really like the game then pergzps it dont matter. Do u have tactics on ps1. Do u have any original copy. I have one on android. Ff ractics and jeanne darc of psp are so nice. And oh yeah tactics ogre

I would absolute buy a Final Fantasy Tactics re-release for convenience as long as they don't screw it up. I also own Tactics Ogre, but never played the Jeanne game. I might have to look it up sometime.

They microcensor old games now when they do a rerelease.
