I would've much rather have a VF Collection (1 - FS) for PC with [online play], than this inferior garbage with less customizations & ugly models! Reminds me of how they butchered the characters in HOD5! 🤦🏻♀️🤢
This is why my expectations for VF6 & E.C. are very low.
What's HOD5? Did you mean DoA, or is HOD5 not even a fighting game?
But yeah, even as someone who never played the old version of VF5 (demos don't count apparently) I knew US looked worse despite the game being remade in a newer engine. It's a typical case of "new tech doesn't equal better art direction" in my opinion.
House Of The Dead Scarlet Dawn - Sega
The main characters look like (outdated) unreal engine models with janky animation.
Ah ok, I didn't know they did another House of the Dead game (I just remember that remake of the first game from some years back).
But yeah, hopefully with VF6 they will try to fix the art direction instead of just relying on the engine to do the brunt of the work.
