Mac Issues

Just bought on my brand new mac and I can't connect to the servers. It also crashes when I try to play custom maps.

There seems to be issues with the MacOS version and server connectivity atm. As for custom maps, you cannot play them on Mac. AFAIK they were always broken and there's no workaround either. If you can install Win 10/11 via bootcamp, do that.

Same, the game connected to the servers for about a week and ran normally and as expected, then end of last week I ran into the A T F or A F T error. This isn't a new problem as Ive seen forums discussing the issue about two years ago.

A whole group of us having the same issue. Report to Activision - hopefully they fix it. No mac players can connect to online servers. Pretty disappointing ...

Try it. I'd personally guess "no" as well, but maybe anything non-map works. Download something like the armory mod or infinite gums and try it out, see if you can load the mod.
I'd still recommend you get Win 10 or 11 installed via bootcamp. While it may be annoying and it'll eat up space, at least you can fully use the game.

i'm having this issue on macbook pro m2 max sonoma 14.5 started about 10 days ago. i play single player mode. if i play offline you can play but xp do not accumulate and gobblegums aren't free at the start of each level.

for mac users that can't connect to servers, what version of OS are you running. My mac upgraded to sonoma 14.5 about the time this problem started occurring.
