Local Multiplayer for PC version!
I really would like to see local multiplayer (split-screen) support for the pc version as it's just lines of code that enables split-screen. You may respond to this message by saying "PC gamers don't have any friends" or "That's stupid" or "What's the point?". But I really enjoy having friends over and playing split-screen on my monitor or streaming it to my hdtv with my xbox/logitech/ps4 controllers. Also steam link is coming out in November which will make more demand for split-screen support on PC games (look at Resident Evil 5 split-screen issue on pc with Capcom).

It's a WHOLE lot more than a few lines of code. Believe me. They would probably have to write an entire new controller mapping system to allow a controller + keyboard at the same time. Which with an engine that Quake was made from, would be time consuming. As we all know, they're not going to do anything time consuming. Might as well give up asking for features that'll never come around Even if they would be good.

So we have decided having friends over is no longer an option, social isolation for 2015, yay....

But what if my friends can't afford a gaming laptop or even a simple laptop? Almost all my friends got a cheap desktop or console.

There is no reason to drop it on PC if the console versions have it, a lot of PC gamers have a TV and controllers.

YES, YES, YES!!!! As an owner of a gaming HTPC who only plays using the 360 controller on a TV. If this has splitscreen with bots then its a done deal, i'll buy it in a heartbeat.
Otherwise I'll just pass this like I have with the other thousand COD's before it.

Portal 2 have got split-screen in update which requires two Xbox360 controllers (or equivalent) so Call of Duty: Black Ops III also can have split-screen on PC without keyboard and mouse support.

BTW You can download unofficial program which allow you play in Portal 2 with only 1 gamepad (and 1 keyboard and 1 mouse) or play in some other games in split-screen with keyboard, mouse, gamepad(s) etc. - http://splitplaypc.codeplex.com/

BTW BTW Some INDIE games has keyboard + controller(s) support or even multiple keyboards and mice support in local co-op or/and multiplayer (like Trine 1&2, Serious Sam 3: BFE).

[Sorry for my English.]

I'll only buy this if it supports local/couch co-op. Some of us actually like to see our friends/family and playing games with them when they visit.

Sure, only one or 2 lines of codes are needed to support many players, support multiples contollers,

Not as simple at it seem.

I got a gaming laptop hooked up to the TV with 4 dualshock controllers connected via bluetooth (using Motioninjoy drivers) during weekends to play local coop or versus with my mates. Anyone who says PC can't do local multiplayer (Splitscreen/samescreen) are the ones who never had friends/family members over to play games with them or are just not interested. That's fine, but there are many PC gamers who prefers to play local coop games with their friends as well.

If splitscreen is not removed in BO3 for PC, then I would buy it day 1. Heck, I might even pre-order it.
