Is it safe to play BO3 Multiplayer with T7patch in 2025?
I am kind of aware that in the old cod games, there are cheaters everywhere and could even harm ur pc (something like that) but I don't think I want to get the latest cod game soo I wanted to know if I can play the Black ops 3 multiplayer safely with T7patch? I kind of want to give the multiplayer a try soo yea. Let me know 🙏

No.

If you read before installing the patch it is clearly written if I remember correctly "This patch does not protect you if you go to play in public lobbies", just avoid it if you play alone or if you want to play with friends in private games that no one else bothers you

The only thing that applies to you if you play in public matches with the T7 patch is the checking of DLC by Steam (basically it only eliminates the FPS drop)

T7Patch what do:

I plan to play it alone, in zombies mode, and I don't have any patch installed... is it safe?

its fine its just like any older online game someone can get your IP and take down your internet for a few minutes use a vpn if you're worried, nobody can remote into your PC its just misinformation spread by activision/treyarch because they want people to buy and play the new games and buy 100 unicorns smoking weed skins

nah the games fine, if you are worried about this dont play on any third party servers for games because the server admins can run commands to control your computer but only in the way they can play audio and such if its integrated into the game like garrys mod effectively lagging you out from opening so many instances

You’re saying that to the developer of the t7patch btw. Just saying since you indicated in the past that you trust him.

am i an idiot or didnt he say in the video the games fine just with just the IP being exposed.
I asked chatgpt and got this : In his latest video, the creator of the T7Patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops III addressed security concerns. He clarified that while playing BO3, only your IP address is exposed, and this alone doesn't allow others to remotely access your PC. However, he emphasized the importance of using T7Patch to mitigate potential vulnerabilities. You can watch the full explanation here:

dang i never seen this comment this is crazy bo3 is cooked, but ill still play i dont really care nobody can do anything with the way my stuff is setup i play through a VM, I used to have scammers connect to the VM's so i know how to lock it down but maybe the average person might have an issue on the game if they game into gamer mode and use gamer words

Well.... Can I play or not? (without patch, connected to the internet, without going into multi, obviously alone)
The servers were hosted in China...supposedly...is that a bad thing?
From what I've heard and from what the creator of the T7 patch has said, you are safe if you play with this T7 patch

  • Run the patch
  • Set a password into the patch
  • Run BO3
  • You should be safe

Just rembember to run the patch before you start up BO3

Just note that this DOES NOT work in multiplayer
I haven't played BO3 in 5 months but when I played zombies with the patch I was completely fine

Also if you're worried about your IP then you can use a VPN

Hope this helps mate
