Pause not working on Deck

As the title says, for some unexplainable reason…The Steam Deck just won’t pause the game during a match.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

The only real solution I found was binding the esc key to another button (R5 for me) and the game pauses again.
I wish there was a fix so I didn’t have to do that though. Kinda inconvenient when I’m deep into a match and I suddenly can’t pause to catch a small break or turn my deck on sleep mode.

I'm just now having this same issue after putting mods and stuff any way to fix this issue ?

So uhm temporary solution, I just bound the keyboards pause command (Esc) to one of the back buttons as a makeshift solution.
Though eventually the pause button did end up working again…literally don’t know what caused it to work again, but I now have two buttons that pause the game.
