What different is COD like on PC compared to consoles?

What's the experience of COD on PC? Black Ops 3 is going to be my first ever COD on PC as I just joined Lord GabeN's master race a few months back, and I would like to know. Advantages? Disadvantages? Some people are telling me there are hackers and bots and things like that. I've played on PS3 before this, and I want to try the all-glorious-PC as I have one enough to play BO3 at 60 fps probs. So???

Advantages

100% dedicated servers for all ranked matches.
Adjustable FOV slider.
Choose your resolution 1080, 2K or 4K.
Unlimited Frames Per Second (FPS) there is a cap for MP 150-200
Playing on Steam has lots of benefits.
Third party voip apps like tream speak, skype and mumble.
Keyboard and mouse, and any peripheral you want to use.
Ping numbers instead of bars
Customizable graphical settings
Total key rebinding

Disadvantages

Amount of players online

As for the hacking please keep in mind that 99% of the hacking complaints are not valid. We call them "Hackusations". Many under 1KD COD players feel it necessary to call players who are better then them "Hackers". Review the kill cam and hit that report button if you see hackers.

If you are into watching COD on youtube check out TBNRFrags. He is one of the few PC COD youtubers.

Thanks man, excellent reply! And yeah, I've watched TBNRFrags for years. He kinda made me change to PC gaming, but I wanted to just build a computer because I'm a hardcore geek. :D

COD on pc aint dead it just got moved from being a True PC game to being made a Console based game with smaller maps for all the little kiddies who dont know how a PC works.

COD is and always will be a True PC game.

plus to add to Joshafools Advantages. one big advantage is you get PUNKBUSTER to stop the cheaters.

Technically I specifically skipped a PS4 and saved up to build a PC. And really I only play with my buddies so I jump into Black Ops 2 all the time on PS3 to play with them. For the outside experience though, I thought the power of a PC would do, so that's why I got one instead.

Also, I'm going to get a PS4 or XBOX One anyways sometime this year, but at the moment it seems like they haven't really had their times as console kings. The games are really limited and for the games that are there, I'd much rather play on PC.

Only going to get a PS4 for Uncharted 4 too, because I'm a huge Uncharted fan, AND we haven'y seen Black Ops 3 in enough detail, so I can't see how you can call it "dead".

Around 80% of the reason I want BO3 is for Zombies, and that's pretty much it. I absolutely love Zombies.

Yeah, know that it was always a PC game, but Microsoft decided they throw away money on it to raise popularity on the XBOX 360 and create a 8 to 12-year old demographic (just saying, I'm only 15 LMAO). And punkbuster, yeah I've seen that while playing WaW.

Stay away from CoD on pc, I played it on both consoles and pc and I gotta say that it is way better on consoles

And I'm assuming you're saying this from the perspective of the COD communitty on consoles right? Because I realized that from the very start this would be a disadvantage...

i know with black ops 2 they were some movement changes too, there was incresed movement speed movement penilty after jumping and can throw ferther. not sure if this is goign to be the case with bo3, im still meaning to ask the dev

I've been practicing a little bit of COD on Black Ops 2 and the mouse/keyboard scheme is really getting on my nerves - I'm not used to it at all. It will take quite a while, so I am practicing for if I ever do play COD on steam.

P.S. Yeah, I am playing a cracked version, but I found no point in buying it on Steam, when I had it on my PS3.
