as a rule of thumb, if everybody else except the host has poor connection and lags often, it's on host's end (maybe just him being distant to remaining players, even if he has awesome internet). if only one player (non-host) has poor connection with frequent lagging, then the issue on his end (or he lives geographically distant to host player).
the game tracks stats and requires connection to treyarch data servers, even when playing solo games (except using offline mode). so, if disconnections happen for you even while solo; you can use wired ethernet connection instead of wi-fi, and reduce (or even stop) background downloads during gameplay and make sure your internet is stable, so the pings don't fluctuate once in a while.
Background downloads are auto stopped by steam for both of us , the problem seems to happen only in CODBO3, were playing Arma 3 on peer to peer standard,
Nothing happened.
i dont have anyone to test with except 1 friend,so i wanted to know if anyone have the same issue.
Because even were playing for about 3 hours didnt happen except in the last hour
nope sadly, the problem follows me in any (peer to peer) layout gaming through Steam.
Vermintide 2
Deep Rock Galactic
BO3
Ready or Not
Played SWAT 4 through Hamachi, with exact same players, things were smooth.
