[HELP] I purchased a key. The CoD website asks me to enter my Steam login details
So I purchased a beta access key.

> Went to BO3 website -- beta section -- to redeem it
> Then it asked me which platform. As I'm on the PC, I selected Steam
> Then it redirected me to the Steam community login with this message:

By signing into prod.umbrella.demonware.net through Steam:

* the site will be able to identify you within the Steam Community and retrieve public info such as your stats and achievements.
* a unique numeric identifier will be shared with the site, rather than your Steam login credentials.
* basic information about your Steam account will be shared with a third-party web site. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

And since I read this message, I am worried about my Steam account. Is it safe to do that (to link my Steam account with that website)? Or not? I don't want my Steam account details and / or private info to be shared with them. Well?

Please, be honest.

Thank you in advance

Looks like it is safe, but I would change my Steam password anyways, just for your peace of mind

or you can look at the top left of the search browser a green lock. That means it is a safe and legit browser.

Sign into steam in your browser first. Then you go to the website that asks you for your login, click on log in. You will not have to enter anything, as you are already logged in. This will be safe, and nothing can happen. If youre still prompted to enter your credentials you know its fake.

Yes, it's safe, unless you dont type in anything.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
