Black ops 3 zombies progress from xbox one to steam

Okay, so I bought BO3 just for zombies on xbox one. I moved abroad for a few months without my xbox and just bought black ops 3 for PC on steam.

Question is, because I've already progressed on xbox one, can I keep progressing my microsoft live account (AKA, xbox gamertag) on the steam version?

Yeah, I realize that. I figured perhaps you could play without steam and because it's on a microsoft OS, could somehow link the two. I knew it was a reach, but thanks for the reply

I was googling the same exact question tbh, it sucks that it's not possible to carry over progress. It doesn't have to be the multiplayer progress, but it would be nice to have your unlocks/mutual progress for the single player/vanity modes... i mean come on, it's not too much to ask.
