Like ZeveN said, make sure you got shadow settings and everything on.
you do know that your stupid eyes cant even see above 60 right?
lock your fps to 60, then turn as fast as you can, now uncap your fps to 200 and turn as fast as you can.
This will answer your question on why we play with super high fps.
you stupid noob you got noob eyes
i play 166fps because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you, thats why
btw. i got gtx970 ,24gb ram, i5 4core 3,2ghz just turn shadows on minimum and overclock it a bit, you will be fine. also get ssd because it helped me alot, had to buy one extra for games only (really interesting but i got extra 10-15 fps)
You can see diffrence between 60 and 120 fps!! I also play better with 120 FPS
Viewing frames per second is not what high FPS is all about - it is increased velocity of avatar movement and increased fire rate of weapons. With higher frame rates, everything runs faster. That has nothing to do with the frames you see on the monitor. It is completely independent of it.
You can have a 60 Hz monitor, but if your FPS is above 60, you will see an increase in the performance of the game, where your avatar runs faster and jumps further, your weapon will fire faster, and your grenade throws will be further.
It's been this way since the invention of the Quake engine. Even Valve games such as Counter Strike benefit from it.
Here is a video by Driftor giving a "proof of concept" demonstration:
