Adding more memory improved performance...
Hey all -- Just wanted to share that moving from 8gb of ram to 16gb of ram helped remove stutter and let me max out the graphics at 1080 with a 970/i5 2500k (60+fps in MP, 40-60fps in SP). Before, setting textures to Extra, or any max combo of settings introduced a lot of stutter.

Anyway, definitely not defending this build -- the optimization and memory usage is a joke. But I didn't think adding more ram would help, and it did (given the vram usage I figured it wasn't a system ram issue). FYI if you're thinking of upgrading.

lmfao from 8-16 that is pretty useless. no game made needs that and wont for the next 10 years. unless the mothership told u otherwise i suggest u just boost ur mb/cpu/gfxc/psu

My doctor advised me to eat a bannana, should try and feed your computer 1.
Also activision is saying alt f4 3 times fixes all your cod problems.

better not install banana in x16 express
lol guys, we (I) all know no game should need more than 8gb right now. My only point was that the jump did give BO3 enough to remove stuttering, which is something to keep in mind if you're having problems, as the game has memory management issues. It's clearly an unoptimized pos port, and my cpu at 4+ghz and gpu (970 OC) are clearly enough.

Actually if he was running single channel before it makes a big difference. At least in this game (not most). My experiences:

Nope. Dual channel 4x2 to 8x2.
