Error server disconnected - not authorized 5

I've been able to play since launch, but now I'm getting this error when I join a MP match.
Anyone know how to solve this issue?

many people have this including me not even zombies online work only solo this is ridiculous.. support didn't help me as of yet restarting pc didnt work verify game cache didnt work reset router didnt work reinstall game didnt work this is awfull..

Here is how I fixed it, uninstall the game and steam
than install steam and the game
Because it still saves some config when uninstalling just black ops.

I uninstalled all my steam games deleted the steam folders and than uninstalled steam itself

It's a game bug, I doubt there is something we can fix on our end. They need to fix it.

You dont have to spend all that time Uninstalling the game and reinstalling like a noob..that could take forever depending on your connection.
All you need to do is simply go to your your black ops 3 folder. inside that folder there is a folder called (PLAYER) this has all of your config files.

Just delete this folder, then relaunch the game...The game will automaticaly create a new players folder for you.. YOU WILL however have to redo all of your controls and graphics options...but the error will go away.

this worked for me, i had the issue since yesterday.
