Gtx 765m Can i run it at 1080p?

I played the game yesterday and from my understanding, the game is poorly optimized for PC.

My laptop specs are as follows:

I bought it when it came out in 2013 its the MSI GS70

i7 - 4700HQ
16gb RAM
GTX 765m
and I'm running windows 10.

At 1080p I'm getting like 30fps which for me is unplayable.
I don't think COD has ever been a demanding game. I have been able to run battlefield 3 and black ops 2 with smooth fps at 1080p so theoretically BO3 shouldn't be that worse off.

I'm wondering if they do optimize it will I be able to run it smoothly at around 50 fps at 1080? cuz if not i rather return the game and not play then to turn down the graphics or play with lag

Maybe if you set everything to the low or medium, you can get it running with uhm... i guess 40 FPS on 1080p.
I would suggest you to set settings on medium/high and play on 720p instead.
You will get most likely 60+ fps

damn... LOL 720p thats like going back to2010 i'm gonna wait for a week to see if they can optimize it a little more either on the dev team or graphics driver and if i can't pull 45+ i'll probably have to miss out on this one :(

fair enough. yea i wasn't having really high expectations but i thought 1080p with 45-50fps would be doable considering i dropped around 1.8k on that laptop but i guess technology can't keep up

Nah, for FPS, you need 60FPS bro, I also play on the 765m, i use 768p, and 60% scale which gives me 60 fps most of the time. I mean, every game right now are so demanding, so if you really want to play, just lower your graphics man.
