4 player splitscreen

I remember reading that you can play 4 player split screen on offline mode like zombies. Can you do that cause I tried connecting a 3rd controller and it didnt let me

I wanted to know this too. It looks like Treyarch removed 4 player splitscreen from only the PC version for some stupid reason. Playing zombies with my friends locally was the main reason I bought this game... why take out 4 player splitscreen from the only platform capable of playing it without fps drops????

Yeap, it looks like 2 players only. I tried hooking up a 3rd controller as well but it didn't take. If it worked I was calling as many people I could to come over my house to play. I'm might be crazy but, I think 4 player splitscreen WAS something that was mentioned before launch. I might be tripping but I'm pretty sure I heard and seen that too. Oh yeah and multi monitor local multiplayer instead of splitscreen, but I have yet to see any of these things. Just keep hearing about 'em. Oh snap, sorry. This my other account. I have two gaming pc's, didn't realize till I posted this comment.

The Co-Op Experience

I know right, now that's the sh!t that pisses me off right there. There's no point in that. MP bots too. That sh!t is just plain stupid. What? Their going to say for a security measure against piracy, pfft. Console don't have to be online to play these game modes, why should we? They have already cracked the campaign, and if they want in due time MP/zombies too. They have even had their own servers to play the pirated game (BO2) online. So why again are they doing this stupid sh!t?

Same here. I dont seem to have the Local Multiplayer option, online works fine, but when i try to go offline it only has free run and campagin. When i plug in 3 or 4 remotes ( which all work) the game only picks up 2 of them. Do any of you know where the local MP is or if i need to reinstall it ? Also, i have read in many places, that there IS LOCAL multiplayer for PC, i jsut cant find it.

as of now theres only 2 players on spliitscreen,but i wouldnt doubt with all of us wanting 4 players then Treyach will allow it on the PC version. and if they dont the code for splitscreen is in the game already so a modder next year could certainly mod it into the game

That's one feature parity! They cripple major gameplay feature like it's nobody business. Why the hell we pay the same for the inferior version of the game? Our platform of choice is perfectly capable for this, and actually even more capable than any console due to better hardware. This is corporate BS, absolutely no excuse but laziness and greed. PC split screen implementation is cheap cashgrab and zero effort job right now.

I contacted the usless Activision supprot and they hit me with the good old fashion "we do not have the information at this time to answer that" or "we must wait for information updates to answer your question" contacted them 5 times got same response.
