Samsung R780, NVIDIA GeForce GT330M ...

The GT 330M is a DirectX 10 GPU, so of course it won't run a DirectX 11 game. Also even if it did have DirectX 11 support it wouldn't be nearly powerful enough to run this game. It's a nearly 6 year old low-midrange laptop GPU afterall...

You can't run DirectX11 games on a DirectX 10 card. period.
The GT330M does not support DirectX 11.

Make sure, if you're using the switchable graphics, that you have the game set to run on the GPU and not the Integrated graphics. Also try updating your drivers.

I've gotten this error, and several others. Resetting seems to solve it, but this has got to be the buggiest game I've ever gotten.

Try manually changing the game from DX11 to DX10, most games have the option to do it, but the methods varies from game to game.
