i had that problem.
plugged a different pair of usb headset in and it worked.

for some reason it is broken with all my headsets but speakers still work.

just tried original headset and it still did not work.
driver issue i would suspect.

I am re-downloading the game / re-istalling will say if anything changes.

Anyone else having any updates on if they have the Issue and how they fixed it>?

I have the same problem Black ops I i can run with sound but this game not on speaker not on headset not different plugs the volume mix doesnt registrate the Black ops III sounds at all..
Even updated my drivers and still nothing.

K guys I did some digging into the files and it gonna be shocke, there is no audio in the files aka we haven't even got the audio in the download we have to rebel

Same for me (Had this problem too during the BETA). I have a 5.1 audio but the game doesn't support it (yet). To have audio in-game, in your computer audio settings change the configuration to stereo ;)

I have this problem to solve.
Go to you game and right click.
Click in Properties.
Go Local Files
Click in Browse Local Files
In you Folder Game Will Have (_CommonRedist)
Click in this Folder
Go to (DirectX\Jun2010)
Execute (DXSETUP.exe)

This solved my problem.
I hope solve you two.

I have recently purchased Black ops 3 on steam and I am running into the same issue where I have no audio. I use the Hyper X Cloud Mix and it works very well and all other games but for some reason I am running into trouble with Black Ops 3. I have tried everything I could find on this discussion board and all others that I could find and I still am having zero luck. Pls help me lol.
