Can I only install the bo3 multiplayer to play the multiplayer?

go to your library and look at COD BO3 you can untick Campaign and not download it!

Yes, you only have to install the multiplayer to play multiplayer. I tested it earlier today.

Thank you so much for this thread! Thought I was gonna have to wait another 10 hours for the whole thing to download, now it's just a couple of hours to go(only want multiplayer)!

Go to your steam libary, then click on bo3 an you can see a Black ops 3 singleplayer, multiplayer, zombie etc. untick the things you wouldn't dowload.

what they mean is right click bo3 and click on properties then go to the dlc tab and untick what you dont want to install

Make sure you have your games library in detailed mode (at the top right of the list), after that, click black ops III, and unselect the gamemodes you don't want to install. Here is a screenshot of my view (don't be scared, i am using another theme for steam, but the main concept should be the same)

so i know this is a rather old disccusion but what happend to the option where you could indeed only select certain parts of the game to install, i whant to install only the Multiplayer of the BO3 but there is no option to ONLY instal Multiplayer i only can instlall everything :(
