In shooter games, increasing the FOV makes the horizontal and vertical perspective ranges larger, so more can be seen, and can result in a large play advantage, and also more satisfaction.
A lower FOV can make player models take up a larger amount of pixels, thus easier to hit and aim at parts more accurately. The problem though is that unless you're sniping, BO3 doesn't have that kind of depth to gun mechanics; you'll get more kills shooting as fast as you can rather than taking your time to aim each bullet.
