Vsync ON or Vsync OFF on 120hz Monitors???
Guys, I am a little NOOB about Graphics settings.
I have a 120hz MOnitor and a GTX 980 (coming soon), so, to have a better experience playing BO3 with NO STUTTERING, what should I do:

1) Vsync OFF (84 ~ 140 FPS)
2) Vsync ON with 100 FPS Cap

Seeing videos on YT, the GTX 980 can get 100 FPS all the time.
Wich is better???

If your monitor is 120hz and you enable Vsync the game will try to run at 120 FPS to stop screen tearing. If your card cant maintain 120fps it will work, otherwise your performance will be affected.

Normally if you want 120fps constant you'd use a free sync or g-sync monitor or simply not enable v-sync and live with the screen tear.

Entirely up to you. Neither is 'better'. They are called 'options' for a reason. Vsync ON will make sure the image has no tearing (a type of artifacting that looks like a line through your screen, like a broken piece of glass sorta, but a straight line), but it will lower the smoothness a bit. Vsync OFF will cause tearing whenever the framerate is above 120, but it might be a bit smoother. So you should pick based on which bothers you more, tearing or a slightly lower framerate.

I play on PS4 on the SAME MONITOR I play on PC...its a BenQ XL2420T.
So, why I CANT SEE tearing on PS4 gameplay and when I play on PC its pretty easy to see these tearings???

I just wanna play with NO TEARING, but smooth you know? And NO mouse lag.
You guys played the beta???
If you literally turn down 1 or 2 things off Ultra to Medium like shadows and effects not only will you have much better vision to play you also will probably get well over 120fps stable.

Easy. Screen tearing happens when the framerate produced by the system is higher than the refreshrate of the monitor/tv. The PS4 will not run at 120fps, even if you plug it into a 120 fps monitor. It won't even come close. However, some PCs can run the game a significantly higher frame rate and they can go over the 120fps limit on the monitor. The tearing is actually caused inside the monitor, not inside the PC or PS4.
nvm

Turn off indirect lighting, that thing along with ambient occlusion gave me 1 FPS on the menu until I turned it off.

FACT ^

Take this guy's word, he knows his ♥♥♥♥. Tearing isn't caused by having a weird framerate, it's caused by fluctuation. When you run a game at 120 FPS, suddenly going higher or lower will cause a tear. If you're at 30 FPS or 60 FPS and not moving, there won't be any tearing.

Ever played Half-Life 1 at 800 FPS? It's butter smooth and great for Deathmatch mode, but there's tears absolutely everywhere as soon as you start hopping.

If you have in game 200 fps Vsync off if you have about 120 or lower Vsync on
You never want to use VSync in a competitive shooter.

You have it backwards. you want VSync on if you get above 120. You want it off if you get below 120. Vsync below 120 on a 120 screen does literally nothing for you and it can hurt your performance.

Screen tearing happens when two frames are displayed in a single refresh of the monitor. And I'd say use a framerate cap if black ops 3 has a built in one. Vsync can have some weird issues.
FreeSync monitor.

FreeSync monitor.

I have a G-sync. I'm going to test out whether or not the game works better with ULMB or Gsync enabled. I think CSGO is better with ULMB so we will see.
