Who agrees the CoD Franchise is ruined
Bo2 was my favorite cod ever Call me crazy but Ghosts was my second) When advanced warfare came out I could see their franchise going to hell in my eyes futuristic stuff is neat but I dont like the movement!!! New equiptment is fine but movement is what bothers me Bo3 did just what advanced warfare did only now they add Wall running I cant get a refund because I gave my friend a code so Ill try it but the way I see it their franchise has lost my interest (If they make CoD Ghosts 2 Then Ill come back)

As i said in another thread, it's really the engine change. The newer games look good and the guns are fun to shoot, but the games are so unstable. Ghost leaks memory after half an hour of play. Advance Warfare crashes to desktop randomly. The older engine had none of those problems.

It's a bummer because the new jumping and wallrunning mechanics seem to suit the game fine. Oh well.

I would just point out that there are 3 engines being used for COD games on Steam: The IW engine for Ghosts; the SledgeHammer engine for Advanced Warfare; and the Treyarch engine for Black Ops.

They are not all as good as each other. Treyarch's engine is very good. Even though the BO3 beta was not optimised, it played very smoothly. Even more smoothly than Ghosts, and that was supposed to be optimised!

Stick to Treyarch games. They will always deliver for PC gaming.

I don't agree. I like the way the franchise is going. I am bored rigid with the classic style of COD. I have been playing it since 2003. I like the new wall running and Boost Jumping. It gives the game a new dimension which is fresh and fun to play.

HIGHLY Disagree, I would be pissed as hell if they just keep doing the same thing over and over, why even upgrade then, different skins with the same old thing.

Like it or not, Advanced Warfare really set a very good standard, but people are usualy afraid of change or are unwilling to learn new things, and Sledgehammer for not fixing the damn thing along with Stupid ass lasers are the only things that really ruined the franchise.

lol Ghosts was just design fails all over the place...

So AW ruined it for you ? Kawaisou neee

Here, breaking news for you.. BO3's movement does not have that huge impact as AW's.. It's slower, less OP..

Why are you playing multiplayer games if you are not able to learn new tricks anyway ?

I like new changes just futuristic I just dont like. Now cut me a little slack Ive never played AW on pc only xbox but I just dont like how you can boost behind people and I dont know I like more tactical ground combat Now dont get me wrong I am very very excited for this I just cant say if Im going to like it in the beta the optimization made me quit after like 15 minutes so maybe I missed somthing important. Black ops has always been my favorite cods I just hope they will soon make a gool ol' ground combat game (I dont mind chat because I can mute but also with futuristic games kids can say to their parents its robots futuristic not very violent Then we have more fights of 16 year olds telling squeakers to shut up)

The problem with Ghosts was the 90 FPS cap, terrible optimization, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ colors, low health, and no anti cheat for months.

The problem with AW was the 90 FPS cap, lack of footsteps, lack of decent anti cheat, and tons of micro transactions. The movement could have been fine if they had not made it so powerful, fast and usable every second. Supply drops were a terrible idea.

I believe in BO3. The new movement in the Beta was controllable and fun to use. It wasnt too much or too little. It made the game feel fresh and balanced.

We need opengl/vulkan. And a decent version, not just a port of a game originally developed on pc.

Totally disagree that it's ruined. Of all the games, the only ones I can honestly complain about performance was BO1 until they finally patched and I figured out what config file tweaks made it run better and then Ghost, but they finally patched it correctly, albeit at the last DLC drop that it began to run like it was supposed too. Never had an issue running a single other title in the franchise on all maxed out settings at whatever maxed fps you could play for hours on end..
