What's the use of Ghost and Dead Silence perks?

Have been using both and even though I keep moving and am out of site, some people know exactly where I am? Am thinking they're using like an ESP hack. Happens quite a bit and most of the time it is impossible that they saw me but they will all of the sudden turn around if I am behind them like they know I am there. Would like to watch it on theater but mine doesn't work. Anyone else having this happen?

You can still hear dead silent footsteps if you use awareness. If the HATR is the same as the orbital vsat from bo2, then ghost will not hide you from it.

That may explain some of it but I know people are using ESP. It's too obvious.

A killcam will show what perks the player was using. Many people use Sixth Sense and/or Tracker, to which the only counter is Hard Wired.

A lot of people are using hacks in this game,I do not think I have playe two matches in a row where the game was completly legit....sad little kids hacking in every match

And they had no idea i was even coming. But.... I ALWAYS run dead silence, hard wired, AND ghost on every class. Never leave my home without it lol

Yes. And I have 80 hours or so on record ONLY for multiplayer, and from my experience I can tell you that even with dead silence and ghosts AND hard wired ( counters tracker and 6th sense) every time you land from a boost jump you can be heard.

Landing is the only exception to dead silence and I personally give myself a 'soft' landing to resolve that. I just tap the jump button right before I land from a tall leap and remain unheard. Assuming I have any thrusts left in the tank that is :-)

And as mentioned above, the H.A.T.R. killstreak has NO counter and it will spot everyone. And............ the specialists with the pulse ability, like the hatr, can spot anyone too.

AND.... this is an important one........ make sure you use BLAST SUPPRESSOR too if you're going for absolute stealth. Without it, any boost jump will give your position away on EVERYONE'S mini map as 'ping' similar to the dot of a uav. And.... if you boost jump alot without it you're defeating the purpose of no footsteps because the jetpacks in the game sounds like a tire valve of any car when you release the air pressure lol! With it, boost jumps are quiet.

But in conclusion, try adding blast suppressor AND hard wired to you're class if you're going for true stealth and compare the results.

You know............. I only have roughly 30 minutes out of 80 hours online devoted to hardcore lol

And that's a great question! But, how do you know a death in hardcore was from 'awareness' if HC doesn't have killcams?

My total of 30 minutes in HC isn't enough to confidently give you the right answer. Sorry lol

And I would recommend blast suppressor in HC anyway just because users with the 'awareness' perk can still here boosts /thrusts a mile away without it.

I am not one of those bouncing noobs..,. I do occasionally jump but mosrly just run or wall run. Try to be very stealthy but am telling you there are obvious hacks and not sure u can always see ESP in killcam.

There are meny hackers in COD BO3, anyone that says there are none or they have not seen any is either a hacker or a liar or both

You have to stop to assume that everyone that kills you or that has a good K/D ratio has some sort of hacks.
That's not that hard to assume that people did actually better / that they were in a situation giving them the advantage / They heard your footsteps or they knew for some reason that you were coming from there.
If you can't, then just shut up, continue to say bad words to your screen and continue to break your mouse&keybard / gamepad while saying that everyone is cheating, but just shut up and don't come in public forums to say "he is cheatiiinng".

I have got 7 people banned for using hacks by sending Shadow Play Video to pcdev on Twitter, there are plenty of hackers on every single day, you can now stop with youre bs and run along.
