"BANNED" for using an offensive emblem -.-

Kids,

Yesterday my m8 got banned for using an offensive emblem

he got a perma bann

i use the same emblem and i only got a 7 day bann

(emblem is on my profile)

So suckarch is banning players who using offensive emblems, but they are not getting kids who are 12 years old and not even old enough to play this game?

this game is fcking 18+, so i cant make an emblem in a game that is supposed to be played at an age of 18+, fcking ridicilus.

Ive never seen a company banning you for using a wrong emblem. Its called making an own emblem, so why cant i use an emblem if i make it by myself.

Fix the hitboxes first before you start banning people for using emblems, thats a part of the game and its supposed to be fun....

There's no real way to find out the age of the person who's sitting in front of the screen.
Only barrier is that steam asks you if you are above certain age limit, but that's easy to bypass by just pressing YEAH OKEY. At least, it was years ago when I registered.

On the other side, crappy childish emblems are pretty easy to detect.
Actually, Treyarch doesn't care about emblems (they don't have time to watch EVERY SINGLE emblem ever created), they only check emblems that were reported by players.
So, blame community for reporting you.

Not me, but then again I'm not trying to impress anyone and get the gist of the TOS, so I consider myself more intelligent than that.

Also, people working on the technical side of the game and people weeding out the neckbeards from the player pool are two different employee groups.

If he got a permanent ban, that means he got banned before. Theres a stickied thread at the top of this forum saying all the different ways you can be banned.

Emblems, Boosting, hacking, glitching/exploits, clan tags, mic chat, text chat.

Im sure theres more. They don't look for emblems btw, people have to actively report you. Apparently, a lot of people reported.

its childish to report emblems lol. Anyways, the report button had 0 functions in previous cods, so i was already aware that it woundt work in this game anyways.

its childish to report emblems lol. Anyways, the report button had 0 functions in previous cods, so i was already aware that it woundt work in this game anyways.

Apparently, it does have a function and is working as intended.

He only got banned from the emblem editor, not from the game itself.
I suggest editing the original post. Because now it makes sense, and it's 100% deserved in this case, and the punishment is totally fair.

Send a ticket to Treyarch or ask on twitter. It says its repeat offenders get perma banned, not one offs.

You arent killing slaves as a slave hoarder, or a having an amok run in a school. Youre soldiers versus soldiers, they all had their choices. People dont care about that.
I admit, its a funny joke, but some people could really find that offensive. Having him banned from Editor Permanently seems reasonable.

Actually the law states they have to be 18+ to buy the game. Any age to play the game. So if you admit to being under 18 and you bought the game then steam can ban you also Treyarch can ban you.

As for offenisve emblems why not just give us an option to hide others embelms.
