i shoot first then die alot
others see me for a second before i see them. is there a setting that my help?
ping seems about the same during game but doesnt matter. rarely i can kill first even when they see me first but not very often. im about to move on and play something else. not fun when u should kill but loose every time

It's the great mighty lagg comp, honestly the best thing you can do is play in a lobby where no ping is over 100 .

... same here ... many players are able to see my char 1-1.5 sec earlier and i have no chance against them. Only on killcams i see often my char isnt shooting at enemys ... but i have fired half mag in this time where my char get killed.
Other example is: i spot an enemy player and my char is instant dead ... no chance ... only on killcam i see that he has up to 1.5 sec to kill my char BEVOR i have him on screen ! Btw. my ping is around 45 but in many matches it grows up and down between 40 and 150 ...

... since last patch i get more and more probs with that ...

Its a really big lag compensation in this game i never seen bevor ...

The new patch made me experience this too. I didn't know if the gun I used was nerfed or what, but I couldn't kill anyone, even if I was behind him and started shooting. Then, as I played some more, this issue was gone. Either I got better, and got used to it, or the lagg compensation you spoke about was gone. Never experienced this since.

Sounds like EXACTLY what was happening in Black Ops 2. Welcome to screwed up lag compensation.

I gave up on CoD because of that. Black Ops 1 is the best one, because you have real dedics there. No idiocy like that happening there. Well, for the most part. Lags happen everywhere sometimes.

me too, when i check the killcams i see mostly 2 hitmarkers, in the leg or lower torso and i am dead while i am shooting the guy right in the upperchest getting tons of hitmarkers. Maybe the killcams are so broken??? Maybe the lagcomp is worse than ever in this game??? i dunno...the only thing i know is that i have a pretty decent ping( 70~80 ms) and it feels like i am playing with 200ms.

Killcams were pretty broken in BO2 too... If you want, you could look for "black ops 2 lag comp" or "lag compensation" on youtube, there are many vids that show this nonsense in slowmo.

Whoever came up with that lagcomp should be shot. But then he'd probably just run away after being shot pointblank anyway...

It's either lag comp or their crappy server rates, but it's also the prime reason I don't believe them when they say '100% dedicated servers'. I think we will get them, later when they release the custom modding tools, but I think what we have now are just placebo servers and it sucks.

Thankfully, it's a random thing, so you'll have matches where you'll be the one absorbing hitmarkers and getting tons of kills. Almost like you were the one hosting....

ingame fps 130. / 150. .... also tried capping 60 / 90 / 120 .ect no differance.
my ping in game. 30 / 50 max unless servers are playing up for every 1
recent players and its like this game is open world.

i even seen SANTA. connected from the north poll.

but i sware to god if i see a alian from mars connected to the game and hes got less then 100ms ping and no lag. i will be p*ssed

even in hc im getting 3/4 hits to make a kill. i die in 1. and the enemy never seam to miss.

yes my pc is good. and also temps are cpu. 50. gpu 65. and thats max i see them go on this game. specs on profile.

PS. max game settings and now i run high. still no diffance other then little more fps..
