AFT ERROR FIXED!!!!

I found this solution myself. You go into black ops 3's files, take out everything after black ops 3.exe or the files under it. not the folders. then try launching the game. it gives you an error. what you want to do is go back into your recycle bin and put them back in the same place. open black ops 3 and then it will require to download some stuff (aka the patch or correct version) and you should be able to play!

it's the AFT error a lot of people are getting because they can't get the new patch. it looks like this or something similar. "A............F.......G..........T" or "A............F.....T"

Trying this right now. Really hope this works. Haven't been able to play multiplayer since I bought it.

I fixed it. i literally just took all the files out on the same folder as blackops3.exe and luanched it. then closed it, then put all the files back in, then launched it again, it asked for an update or downlaoding files. and it downloaded the latest patch and it worked

Didn't work for me, still got the same error.
I took the files out, after closing, then i tried rebooting the game - didn't work.
Then i put the files back in and rebooted, but still doesn't work.
I don't see how it would work since its still all of the same files.

I am experiencing this error in 2022, just bought the game and the aft error came up. I am also on Mac so I don't know which files to remove then put back into the game.

Use BO3MacFix -- it's a third party solution but its really all we've got due to Aspyr not updating the mac port.
