Mouse sensitivity randomly changed?
So i was just in the middle of a game (have been playing all day) and suddenly my mouse sensitivity just randomly changed to something much lower, or atleast it felt like something MUCH lower. Like my DPI was just randomly lowered for some reason, but it was only in game, not in any of the menus or anything. And all of my mouse settings were still the same :/ What could cause this?

The only way to fix it was to restart the game. And the same thing happened yesterday, also had to restart then. This seems to happen completely randomly, and it is only in game where it has any effect, if i press "Esc" and go into any menus it is fine and my sensitivity is normal, but when i go in game a again it feels very slow. This started happening after the resent patch, it is not a huge issue but a very annoying one since i have to restart the game. It has also caused me to die since all of a sudden my aim is completely off.

It seems to happen after i have played the game for a while in a single session, but i cannot be sure since it has only happened twice so far. But if anyone else has experienced a similar issue, i would be glad to know! :)

And please dont spam that you are not having the issue, it is enough if one person can confirm he does not have the issue so that i know that it is not an issue everyone is having, but i dont need 10 people telling me they dont have it. Instead only post if you have any tips that you know can fix it or if you have had the same issue.

The mouse acceleration in black ops 3 can seem lower/higher due to fps. It's weird! but locking your fps to a stable setting should stop it from changing.

That is NOT the issue, my framerate is locked. And after it changes, it does not go back, it stays super slow compared to my normal sensitivity.

I had to also reduce polling speed from 1000hz to 250

I, too, am experiencing this issue. It's definitely not due to fps, as it's a single change that does not revert to normal. I run with v-sync off, fps capped @ 60, no mouse smoothing or filtering, and in borderless windowed mode. My mouse is set to 2000 DPI w/ a poll rate of 1000hz. I use Logitech's "gaming software" to customize my mouse profiles, but I don't usually have it running in the background, as the profiles are saved on my mouse. Additionally, I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro, and have a 4 monitor setup.

^^^^ Might seem like a lot of random data, but I thought I'd include it in case it can somehow help someone else solve this issue.
Oh noz! Dec 23, 2015 @ 2:05pm
I am also having this same issue. Happens after an exteneded session. Mouse gets extremely slow and basically makes it extremely hard to do anything the rest of the match. Checked DPI on my mouse, settings in game they were all still the same.

If feels like it lowered my sens by half.

I've experienced this, the only thing I've figured out so far to correct is a quick game restart. I'm working on a fix hopefuly I'll have it done this afternoon.

my biggest problem is my hipfire sensitivity is slower then my ads sensitivity.when i lower my dpi i would need a 3 foot mouse pad to do a 360 from the hip and then when i raise it to where i like it. i feels like i can do about 3 360s when ads like wtf. thats why i use a controller. i thought my mouse was broke but when i went to battlefield and other games its not like that just this game. i have a g502 so its a good mouse. also i have turn the ingame sensitivity up and down makes no diff. yes i have my window settings right and mouse acc. off

Speak of the devil, I beleive I found the fix. Go into your config file and change your

/Frame rate cap (0 for none)
MaxFPS = "140" // 0 to 1000

To just under your screens max refresh rate. So for 144 set it to 140 for a 60 set it too 55. Let me know if that helps.

I have seen this after a long game session too, and it's annoying. I have limited my frames to 59 since my monitor refresh is 60hz. I actually did that because of the bad mouse lag, and changing this setting is the only thing that makes it feel like a COD. Changing this setting, for me however, has no effect on this weird glitch. Game restart is the only thing that puts it back to normal.

Go lower set it to 50, your trying to stay away from that 60 fps threshold.

After playing 2-3 hours this usually happens to me. Only fix for it I know of without tweaking your fps cap or anything is just to relaunch the game.
