Took it to 14 and I seem fine for now. I think my sweet spot is between 12 and 16. Still working on it.

I use 6.5.
I can move mouse smoothly when I use that sensitivity. Takes an extra drag to get the crosshair to where ever I want it.

What is your KD by the way?

My KD? Kill Death ratio? Something like 0.7, I guess. I don't try to get high KD ratios though. I always through myself out there with high risk, and I only use pistols too. I do whatever it takes to win the objective. Sometimes I see people with like 60-10 KD ratio on the enemy team with top score but they still lost by a lot.

It's OK. I have 0.94 and my dad has 1.3. We both use sensitivity 14, my kd was rising though

My sensitivity is around 0.65 but with dpi set to 8-10K and polling rate at 500Hz because most mice do not deliver a steady 1000Hz ( my mamba chroma deliver max 800-900 in wireless mode and 1000Hz wired ).

I couldn't imagine using such a high sensitivity as 14. Doing everything from 360 spins to pin point accuracy is fine for me at 6.5

I know. Any time I set it too 8or even 6, I wonder how people are able to use it. I guess to each his preference

How do you change the DPI? And what is it by the way?

a high sensitivity is easily understandable on a mouse with low dpi

ng it would help if you told us what kind of mouse you have

It depends of your mouse, razer mice, you do it in synapse for example. For others or more generic mice, if they have the setting you need to install the proper driver and find the setting.

dpi is dot per inch, it is how the mouse will measure distance, a higher dpi means the mouse is able to report shorter movements, good for precision.

the polling rate is how often the mouse report a movement. The default is usually 125Hz, it means an interval of 8ms, and so when the game read the value, it means it can have at most 8ms lag on the reading.

If you run the game at more than 125fps, it also means that the game will not even receive a new value for each new frames, so it will slutters !!!

Increasing the polling rate reduce the potential lag, but put usually pressure to windows and the cpu, and i think only a pro gamer is able to notice a difference between 500 and 1000hz. Even if your mouse can only do 250hz, should be perfectly fine.

I have this.

Thanks.
I finally found that putting my sensitivity to 1, and cranking my mouse DPI to about 2800 made the game feel nice and responsive.

If you have a mouse with adjustable DPI settings, its generally a good idea in any game to take the in-game-sensitivity down extremely low and just tinker with your on-board mouse software.

Do I need to change anything if I have this mouse?
