Servers?
I heard from my bro that the servers are not dedicated. Well. that only ranked matches 'are' dedicated. Is that correct?

No, multiplayer, co-op, and zombies are all 100% dedicated servers. No hosts in BO3 except for Private Matches and Bots.

Dude, co-op modes never ever use dedicated servers. No one is going to waste a dedicated server for a 4-player lobby, only Valve does that with their games.

Co-op campaign and Zombies will be the same as before: straight up P2P connection. Only multiplayer will make use of dedicated servers.

I heard it was all on dedicated servers. At E3 they were saying this is the first time Zombies and Co-Op would be on dedicated servers. So, unless you have a source, I am sticking to what I have heard. After all - you admit you don't know everything (anything?).

BTW - I don't want you to respond to any of my posts ever again. I am sick of you. Just go away. Failure to do so will have serious repercussions.

You think I'm having fun with this? No I'm not. We're all here just having a civil discussion, but apparently you're too high and mighty to let anyone else correct you without getting all butthurt, whether you're right or not.

Treyarch and PCDev have said time and time again that dedicated servers are used for ranked multiplayer matches only. This is the first time I have heard of Campaign and Zombies using dedicated servers. And I follow the news at E3 pretty close, so if something like this was announced, I think somebody would've made a big deal out of it. With that being said, feel free to give me your source of information. If it's correct, I will shut up and never bother you again.

I see you on here and Reddit and the only time you post is when you are contradicting someone. You live for it! They call your type a "Contrary Mary". Someone who has such low self-esteem they only feel alive when they are contradicting someone because that's the only thing that makes them feel special. So, I don't want you to respond to any of my posts. Failure to comply will result in very serious consequences.

As for E3 - I was there! I didn't read about it. I lived it.

All Ranked multiplayer matches will be Dedicated servers but don't hold your hopes up for not getting the host Migration screen.

There has been some confusion and debate over whether we really do have Black Ops 3 servers as people are still claiming they are getting terrible pings as well as seeing host migration. Drift0r explains this though as Black Ops 3 uses a combined dedicated server and player server system.

The game will attempt to get you on a dedicated server but if that server is full or down it can then pick a player host and that is when you can end up with a dodgy host and that annoying Host Migration screen.

In otherwords Yes BO3 will use ded servers but if those servers get full you will be stuck with the P2P config meaning the host migration screen will be back.

BlackOps3 PC will use 100% dedicated servers for all ranked matches. (Same as previous BlackOps PC titles.) This is how we do it.

There will be no hosts for online ranked Multiplayer on PC. It is 100% dedicated servers.

Dude. This is the Internet. Don't try to be a thug with me. That ♥♥♥♥ isn't gonna work.

You know you lost a lot of credibility when the only source you can name is yourself. Unless you have audio-visual proof that Campaign and Zombies use dedicated servers, I'll stick to what the devs have been saying: dedicated servers are for MP ranked matches only.

And I am amazed that you even took the time to look me up on Reddit. Granted, I probably should've used a different username, but now I guess I can figure out who might be stalking me. For a person who clearly despises me, you've done your homework poorly. I post and comment on contents like any other normal person would. Sure, I correct people, but not as much as you're making it out to be.

I don't care why you carry such a hatred for me, but I won't tolerate people slandering me. If you continue to insult me in such manners, I will see to it that the moderators take action and deal with you.

Maybe you should have read the post more clearly no where did I state (from sources) that ranked multiplayer on PC WAS NOT going to use ded server's. Things like Zombies, Private matches and unranked multiplayer would be using a mixed set up of Ded Server (If you can get on it that is) otherwise you'l be stuck with P2P and the stupid Host Miragation screen.
