FPS Drop with GTX 960 4 GB ?
Grettings.

This time I come to ask for your help.

I have a computer that I consider pretty good but on some occasions the BO3 is giving me some FPS drops.

My PC specs are:

4GB GTX960 DDR5
I5 4690K 3.9 Ghz .
8 GB Ram .

It should also be noted that it seems that the game has a FPS limiter because I never gets over 60 FPS.

Does anyone have any solution?

Here are some BO3 tips:

  • Restrict the FPS with the ingame slider just below your monitor's refresh rate (60Hz monitor = 57 or 58 FPS). Fluxuating FPS can cause fluxuating mouse sensitivity, which is ♥♥♥♥.

  • Turn off Order Independent Trasparancy as its only purpose seems to be, to make the game stutter.

  • Texture detail can be a pain in the ass. I have 2x GTX 970 and sometimes it craps itself even on high. Play around with that a little until you get the experience you desire.

You should have a much smoother BO3 experience with these tips.

make sure vsync is off in nvidia control panel and in game.use the fps slider to set desired fps.
texture quality set to high or medium, texture filtering med or low, shadows medium or low ambient med. turn off aa in game set it in nvidia 3d settings to enhance application at 2x. turn off all the other stuff. that should help out. im not sure how much more you will get. i was getting stable 98fps with a gtx 980 classified. with most settings on high or medium.
