Offline multiplayer issue for mac

Whenever i try playing call of duty offline multiplayer, the multiplayer button is dark and not available for interaction. the game wont let me play with bots. can someone explain how to fix?

Having a mod loaded is required for Multiplayer to be available offline. You can load a mod when starting the game by setting the following as a launch option in the game’s properties: +set fs_game usermaps
