T7 Patch Crash Issue

A couple months ago, an issue surfaced for me that renders me completely unable to play PC Bo3 with the T7 Community Patch running. I couldn't find anyone else talking about this particular issue online, but if someone has insight, please lmk.
The issue is: When I play Bo3 with the patch running (2.02, the current version), as soon as I input anything at all with my keyboard, the game freezes, stops responding, and has to be force quit. (Navigating the menus with the mouse works fine though.) The issue is not present if I launch the game without the patch running. I'm running Windows 11 Home with a Ryzen 5 5600X & RTX 3060 Ti.
I already tried many general troubleshooting tips I found online, such as:
- adding exclusions to the patch and game in my Defender and firewall settings
- running the patch, steam, or the game as administrator
- verifying the integrity of my game files in Steam
- completely reinstalling the game
- updating my GeForce and keyboard drivers
- running the game in windowed (fullscreen) mode, or resetting the video settings to default
- disabling unnecessary startup apps
- completely uninstalling Overwolf

for me it never crashes.. but i dont know the solution for you maybe look on yt?

I have the exact same issue as you. No one I know has this problem. I verified my files a few times and still didn't fix it. I guess we just have to wait until T7 gets updated again. S### sucks

everytime i open bo3 it shutters and lags a lot and when you go into a game its so laggy. worked perfect until a few weeks ago and cant find a fix

The game updated the exe not too long ago and the updates for the community patch are before that update; so it's probably in need of being updated.

Unfortunate if that's the case
I wonder if it'd be possible to use an old version of the game in the meantime? Idk but I'd guess even if so, it probably wouldn't work for playing with others

If this is the the problem I wonder how people could get in touch with Serious about it
But I also can't help but wonder if something else is going on cause if a game update broke the patch, wouldn't practically everyone be having this problem?

Interestingly enough, if I connect a controller I can play just fine, it only freezes once I use the keyboard

Turns out it was some dumb Windows 11 issue and I needed to update myself out of version 21H2. I had to enable TPM in BIOS (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/enable-tpm-2-0-on-your-pc-1fd5a332-360d-4f46-a1e7-ae6b0c90645c#bkmk_enable_tpm) in order to use the Windows 11 Installation Assistant to reinstall my OS in-place which bumped my version.
So Jimbo if you have Windows 11 and you notice your keyboard either double typing or not typing at all when you're trying to type in things like start menu, file browser search bar, etc. you can probably fix the same way

I tried booting up BO3 without the patch and the game crashes, then my computer force reboots. Been having issues since last night. Never had issues prior to playing the game on PC, I believe B03 is not working at this moment
