Thanks for reaching out to Aspyr Support!

We apologize for any frustration this has been causing. We are currently investigating the issues with connecting to online services on macOS 14 for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. While we do plan to address this issue, we do not have an ETA on when this will be resolved.

While we investigate this issue, our current workaround is to create a partition with macOS 11 in order to access multiplayer features. For steps on installing and using multiple versions of macOS, please refer to this article from Apple.

To be honest I have yet to try it as I just left for vacation but definitely going to try it when I get back.

Update (2024/08/14)

A project has been created that solves many of the problems on the macOS version of the game, including the problems of not being able to load custom maps as well as the inability to connect to online and the inability to crossplay with the Windows version:

Installed macOS Big Sur version 11.7.10 on an external drive, didn’t work. Kept getting error code AFGT. I was originally on Monterey (macOS 12), but still had the same error code.
