A higher FOV will give you an objective advantage against someone with a lower FOV because you can see more, but like Jimmy said its up to you really.

I like them both ways but they are absolutely better when they're pickled.

I play at 120 and it use to drop frames, but you probably won't notice it since I'm playing at 144hz.

105 FOV FTW

There is no actual performance difference when you change the FOV, unless you're playing on some kind of craptop or potato I imagine.

I play at 120 personally because of my history of playing Quake.

Most people say that a lower fov helps your aim in COD but i play 100 as that's the same as my Quake setup, best of both worlds

At default FOV you will see everything closer to you because the screen wont expand horizontally. It will be easier to aim because of this. I tried playing at 120 and while I could see everything wider (giving me an edge over the other players) the enemies appeared way farther and it was difficult to aim at them. So I just decided to balance things out and set it to 100 since 3 months ago. Never going back.

It was wierd at first but now i love it, I don't think I can go back now.

Plus it lets me get off to the look of the gun better now. (I can still never use the sheiva, it's disgusting).
