lagging bad since last update

is it just me or has anyone had lagging real bad since the last update i cant even play anymore, its like having a permanent lag switch on constantly.

Well,.. i played 5 hours today, stop 1 hour back. Really no lag at all. i saw also only low pingers,.. around 20 - 40 ping Europe

There were no optimization changes in the last patch. All the last patch did was change the weapon characteristics. So, I doubt it's the patch that has changed things for you. Did you update your drivers? If so, try reverting back to a previous version.

ive tried everything to be honest, i might wipe it and reinstall it and see if that helps

yeh same i cant get a decent game after that 400mb patch its just lag or cheats

I made the same topic 2 days ago. Topic's called "LAG". I have no idea what it is but i can't seem to kill people like i used to a week ago. It's really frustrating but i have a hard time tracking the enemy with my mouse, like follow them when they're moving. This also cause i seem to be shooting through them.

I used to have a mousebug where my sens would get real low all of a sudden. I have a feeling they tried to fix that but created a new problem now. Anyway, it's either lag or something about the movement they changed or they changed something about the mouse sensitivity.

yeh i get what you mean for some reason if a player boost jumps while im shooting everything misses even though im tracking them fine and bullets should be hitting, these people seem to be the top in every game so either the lag is on their side or its smothing else

well honestly the last patch fix the all the problems for me even the ping is decreased,but yeah it gives me error like you are been disconected and the last error was crazy one which says,you are been disconnected from BO2!!!

theres definitely been an update to the movement sensitivity as now my aim is going mental i have it on 3.5 on both anyway but since update its like having it on double that i had no control over my player what so ever the first game i tried after the update, im even struggling now to aim like i did before and ive not changed anything, i have noticed that the movement for me seems a lot slower than it used to be i dont know about anyone else, even with my smgs i used to run a little quicker but now it feels sluggish. i have recently updated my amd drivers to 16.2 which has stopped the graphics stuttering i was getting after the update but the lag is still shocking in game hitmarkers pistol deaths i unloaded the kuda into someone only to punched to death and the kill cam he wasnt even looking at me

Having thge same like you Chaos engine, seems with every patch it gets more worst. It´s not fun anymore unloading a full clip into someone only to have em turn around and getting killed with 1 bullet. And no its not my internet, or rig...

It really seems like the higher pings are nowhere near as frequent as they were even a week ago. I've seen far less laggy matches. I wonder if they actually addressed this as part of that security patch release.

My ping is around 40 but im ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clipping around the map like crazy. This is just unbearable

I'm not sure if it's the patch or the servers, but lately I'll be in a lobby, play a game, then the next map will load and the room crashes. This was happening all day yesterday. Also, I've noticed if a high pinger happens to be in the lobby, it F's up my connection, and as far as I know, everyone elses. It's feels like the server is trying to adjust everyone for the high pinger, making everyone "rubber band" around the map, which really, that person should not be able to even be in the same lobby as the rest of us. We politlely asked this person to leave, and they did, and guess what? Everything went back to normal. Crazy.
