And, true about CS. Almost all the original CoD pros from 2004-2009 quit CoD at MW 2, because Infinity Ward turned their backs on us, their first community. So most of them went to play Counter strike instead because it's not arcade, it's more competitive, cause that's all they know is tournaments, and Lan parties, guns with recoil, etc.
I disagree. With a stick you can't have precise control whereas a mouse you can "fine aim"
PC users don't need aim assist because we're not a bunch of noobs
Try using a joypad if you think a console player can beat a mouse for aim with its "aim-assist".
The PC version has aim-assist just like the low-res console version!
I've done the whole xbox 360 scene with CoD years ago and I was a monster, likely for the reasons you said - noobs, kids and idiots with no tactics.
The PC version I'm usually in the top 3 on scoreboard, but I find it more of a fun challenge than pub-stomping children on a console.
Yes the PC version will likely die before the console gets its next carbon copy game released, but at least I will be satisfied knowing my game time on PC was fun and rewarding, learning from those who are better than me and hopefully teaching some lesser player some new tricks!
Stick to your aim-assisted games where you need no skill, less of a brain and think you're king of CoD because you smashed some 10 year olds dreams on a game that practically plays for you!!
Although I appreciate that and it makes those higher killstreaks more rewarding when done against competent players.
As a side note, I still think aim assist is just an excuse for noobs. If you want a real laugh boost past or jump over them. It's hilarious.
I've also noticed that controller users were more likely to call me a hacker.
Remove the option to use controller from pc...
Let them sweaty tryhards sweat on pc, and them 10yr old consoleplayers can have their fun for themselves.
When I watch Drif0r's videos, he seems like only an OK player, his skill level is enough to destroy PS4 lobbies and garner a huge Twitch following, but he would only be an average player on PC. He makes a lot of careless mistakes because no one will punish him for them.
Sounds like you having a really hard time...
They sold out and made it arcade, with insane op weapons, unlimited sprint now, low-no recoil, it's just easy "CoD" like Black ops 3, that everyone plays because there's no learning curve, or skill needed, almost anybody with a grasp of Fps games can handle it.
But, I guess most people on computer are just better at taking advantage of the crap in easy CoD's- Blops 3, than I am. (But, online is broken for me). I don't even have a 1 KD, cause I get screwed over so much by the game, and crazy tryhards. (And doesn't help my wrists-hands are ruined).
But, if more people played the real CoD games like 1, 2 more, then they wouldn't be a "sweaty tryhard pub stomper" anymore. Because they actually take skill, patience, learn the maps. There's no sprint, and high recoil, slow Sniper rifles, rifles, no Quickscoping bs, or op shotguns.
In Call of Duty 1 I honestly have a 2.50 KD... Let that sink in... Doesn't make sense does it ?...... So really, KDR is meaningless for interpreting game talent in Blops 3 and the others since CoD 4.
(And YES, I am used to games where you fly and jump around like a maniac, those are my favorite kinds which I am usually better at: Unreal Tournament, Quake. The superior game series').
