Call of Duty: Black Ops III

Black Ops 3 Crashes On Start-Up.
Since that 30mb update sometime ago, Whenever I goto play the game steam says "running" for like 4-5 seconds and then shows syncing for 1/4 of a second then nothing seems to happen. However in task manager if you run the game it does appear under processes then goes away soon after.

LIST OF POSSIBLE FIXES BELOW, READ THIS PLEASE.
(Credit to Pezco for the list just cuase Im to lazy to type one up myself :P)

- Verifying
- Uninstalling then reinstalling
- Clean boot
- Refreshing your steam files
- Simply restarted your computer
- Disabling anti-virus and / or firewall.
- Adding command to exception list in Trend Micro settings
- Unticking steam cloud synchronization for BO3

Yes! I turned Windows Firewall off, was surprised the game started, closed the game, turned Windows Firewall back on and double checked settings to make sure CoD was allowed. So far so good, I have been able to start the game fine without messing with firewall again. My guess is whatever security update they did made Windows Firewall not recognize the game. But I have had previous issues with antivirus also, now I just don't have one installed.

To anyone who cant load the game right click on black ops 3 in your steam library click on properties go to updates and untick steam cloud synchronization and try runniong the game then this worked for me hopefully i can spread the same joy
okey so I may have another solution i killed literally every backgroundprocess in the task manager except the ones where I know it is important like intel microsoft etc. and yeah now i can start the game i hope it helps
i works fine for me, i didnt have any problems
Clean boot worked, however Nvidia did not after doing it, so I just fixed that and restarted, now the game wont work again.

Clean boot worked for me. Make sure you don't disable graphics drivers though. :steamfacepalm:

They said to hide microsoft stuff, then disable ALL which is what I did :S
i've tried everything in this forum..nothing works for me
does anyone know or is anyone aware of the dev.'s actually planning to release any type of fix/patch as it's clearly their issue and nothing relating to anyone's anti virus or other nonsense, s ure it works for some people but it's not a fix

can you actually explain what you literally mean by clean boot mode? you don't mean re-loading Windows 10 from scratch right? I've deleted and re-installed the game but that's not fixed anything nor has verifying integrity/deleting "Players" folder and re-verifying, disabling firewall/antivirus, nothing
