Besides... Why does everyone think this just got announced as a thing? - All that happened was Microsoft said that they were open to the idea and would support it, they still need the devs and sony to support is aswell - and im not totally sure Sony feel the same way, they have most console sales, if people want the bigger playerbase, you need to buy their console... I dont see this happening ever.

^^ That's the first step to "winning" - The second is to get full modding and mapmaking tools released again.
Adding in cross platform play is just a bandaid (more players) for the matchmaking system. It does nothing to solve the actual problem at the core of matchmaking that makes it such cancer. (ie the complete inability to choose what game you join)
Keyboard+Mouse DOES have an advantage and if you think otherwise you're crazy.
