PS controller button prompts

Hi, is there a way to make the game show PS buttonts prompts instead of Xbox when using controller?

I disabled steam input but then the game does not register the controller at all.

How is the controller connected to the PC? Is it a PS4 controller? How did you disable Steam input? Was it by going to the game in the Library, then Properties > Controller, then changing the “OVERRIDE FOR CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS III” setting to “Disable Steam Input”, or was it by going to Steam Settings > Controller > general controller settings, and unticking the “PlayStation Configuration Support” option?

It is PS5 controller, it is wired and I have disabled the input both ways.

It is PS5 controller, it is wired and I have disabled the input both ways.

Since it’s a PS5 controller, I doubt that the game is able to natively recognise it. I’m unfortunately unable to help.
