Boot BOIII client from Steam?

I was wondering if its possible with launch options or something to make Steam boot the BOIII client from clicking run in the library? If so please let me know

You can add the exe to your steam library by pressing the add game button on the bottom left and select non steam game and then clicking on the boiii client

yeah i was aware of that i was just wondering if i could possibly have steam open it from the actual black ops 3 section of my library with launch arguments instead of adding the boiii exe, if i can't do that that's what I'll do

Yeah you can't launch boii from steam since it launches the original version

If You are on linux, You can force Steamtinkerlaunch to be open when launching black ops 3 and inside steamtinkerlaunch You can ask the app to open boiii.exe instead of original game executable.
Fun fact, this method fixes boiii steam workshop integration.

so if you go and put it in steam, then go into the properties of boii you should be able to change the start in from downloads to your bo3 folder aqnd ity should launch from steam no problwem
