It shouldn't be read only. Don't mess with the config. Try setting your display to borderless windowed, see if that helps.
What are your settings for the NVIDIA control panel? maybe that would have to do with something.
You have to be more specific. Nvidia control panel has loads of options.
Just try windowed.
Too many to mention. But neither one of those have anything to do with your refresh rate.
Are you sure it's set 165 in windows? When you turn on the show refresh of your monitor in the upper right corner, does it say 165?
Overclocking your screen doesn't automatically set it to 165 in windows, you have to choose that specifically in the display settings.
Yes, its set to 165. ...ill try something. I also have a 2nd display, a 144hz 1080p secondary monitor. Ill disconnect and see what happens.
