BO3 PC SPLIT SCREEN- Fix squish

Is there any way to optimize the game to fix the squished screen. If not this feature should be added to the game. Obviously some people might make the argument that this feature should only be for console but some pc gamers, such as myself, believe that when you have a friend over and a beast gaming pc instead of a console that it would be nice to play split screen on high resolution and fps. FIX IT PLEASE!

So I am thoroughly convinced that you did not read the entire paragraph because the problem is not with lag or resolution! When you play split screen it does not optimize the size of your monitor and it just smushes it! If they made a setting to optimize it to your monitor than there would be black boxes on the sides like on the console edition. Read before you answer.

Really? I did. But I don't need to answer it all. I am saying you need a great PC and huge monitor to make it look descent, and if you play split screen, it is only when you have guests over that are kids and you don't want to stop playing just because they arrived.

this is a prime example of whats wrong with cod , its people like this .

Also, yeah I am obviously going to get an ultra tall monitor so I can play split screen..Do you even understand how they made split screen. they literally took a fullscreen, doubled it and then smushed them so one is on top of the other. If you had a monitor that would make split screen look good than it would look idiotic just like your ideas.

Yeah I was going to try and do splitscreen zombies last night with a buddy (didn't end up playing anyway) and the game looked like ♥♥♥♥.

And theslayer is a moron. These genius' with their words of wisdom.

Edit: After a quick search, it appears that this is a problem on consoles too. Which makes sense since this is a direct port.

Oh yeah definitely. And actually the console edition isnt that bad because it does what the pc should, which is put black boxes on the side to optimize for your screen size.

I have one and I don't think that you can split screen across monitors, good idea though. Although if you look at what the thread is made for it is about how to fix it for one screen or to start a petitioin or grab the creators attention to fix this feature.

I actually had a friend over myself tonight. We split screened some zombies and it was great, you know what the best part was? 1920x1080 max settings 60fps solid. Console can't do that. Console can't even dream of that. Besides, split screen on PC means everyone gets their own pick of controller. Xbox one controller, ps4 controller, steam controller, Logitech controller, etc. It's the perfect split screen solution.

Not sure about the whole screen size thing though. I'm quite sure my screen had those black bars on the side and looked quite great, although, I did use a TV for splitscreen. Most monitors are simply too small. Hooking into a TV is easy and makes for a nice large area to play. Could be why I had the bars.

I am a moron? I am a moron for specifying you require a large monitor to make split screen look good? And anyway suffering for an hour or few is not that bad. If you constantly play split-screen (Which you are not supposed to do on a PC), get injustice or mortal kombat to play with friends, or go buy a second monitor and look up how to split screen with 2 monitors.
This thread is a mess and shouldn't be here, since split-screen is probably the most insignificant problem treyarch and activision have to deal with as of lately. Even if you get a petition with 10000 signatures, you will not get this fixed until infinite warfare/CoD 4.

Those games are not split screen, they are fullscreen multiplayer, have you never played them ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? Treyarch added split screen not because it is "meant to be", they added it so they don't get a group of tweens who 1v1 their 6 year old brother/sister and say they are good walking into the activision building and making the whole staff deaf. (Tween = Twelve Year Old). I am not being salty I am saying the split screen feature is not going to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fixed. So stop complaining about me and fix the problem yourself by buying a bigger monitor/another monitor.

so i know this thread is old and dead but for anyone who cares, I play on a 21:9 ultra wide display and the bars are the same width as they are on 16:9 and there is actually more stuff appering on screen than before on my old display. In fact the 2 sreens, top and bottom would take up a 16:9 monitor almost if not perfectly, the bars are litterally there for no reason on the PC version of the game.

EXACTLY! These fools out here were trying to tell me it was my screen size. No, it is not. The developers just did a lazy job at adding split screen functionality to the pc
