Can the game support PS4 controller?

I already have a driver on my computer and can use my PS controllers, but I wondered if the game itself had an in-game setting for it? I've noticed some other games on Steam allow me to choose PS controls in-game but I haven't installed this one yet to check myself.

You'll need DS4 tool to use ps4 controllers on PC, until Sony releases a dongle that will allow you to connect a ps4 controller to pc without the DS4 tool needed.

Yeah I have DS4, the controller already works with my PC. I mean is there an option in the game for it to show PS controls rather than Xbox ones.

Sony can't release a dongle because microsoft wouldn't allow it.

Bo3 will automatically detect it, but the controls will appear as xbox ones, so you can use ds4 for that, or if you just want wider support.

Bo3 has native PS4 Controller Support so it will show the buttons correctly.

Only for wireless. If you use a wire you dont need anything it'll work and im fairly sure with the correct buttons showing up.

No, even plugging it in requires you to set up a profile in DS4 or the computer won't recognise it. But I've already done all that in the past, I only wanted to know about the in-game controls.

That's not true.
Install InputMapper it contains required drivers for the controller.
Then you can choose either plug it directly with usb cable, the controller should change from flashing orange to solid blue when you lauch BO3, the controls and buttons will be like on PS.
Or use it wired with InputMapper running or wirelessly with InputMapper running to get XBOX layout.
I play with DS4 wired.

If it's wired, then it will show up the Playstation buttons. Tested it earlier this year after Zetsubou came out.

when i had a ps4 controller the ps4 icons would show but u need to have it connected with usb and not have ds4 running . im not sure if wireless would work i cant remember

Yeah, I play it wired anyway since I'm still sitting at my computer desk and don't need it to reach further away.
