Fixing lag/disconnected (kinda) Call of Duty: Black Ops III on PC.

I noticed a lot of people get issues when playing COD: BO3 in steam discussions and this subreddit so I think it good to make this post to help other fix the issues.

• THE GAME GETS LAGGING EVERY TIME IN MENU, CAMPAIGNS, MULTIPLAYER, AND ZOMBIES.

The game itself was a bad PC port, try this if it worked for you:
1. Play lower graphics and resolutions.
2. Run the game with High Priority mode instead of Normal priority mode.
3. Uncap the Max FPS.
4. Turn on or off Sync depending on your specs.
5. Add an option to automatically uncap the Max FPS. This is normally done by editing the config.ini in the “players” folder in the game’s install directory and setting MaxFPS = 0.
6. Add an option to disable reduced memory usage. Also done by editing config.ini and setting StreamMinResident = 0.
7. Add an option to automatically unrestrict graphics options. Also done by editing config.ini and setting RestrictGraphicsOptions = 0.
8. Add an option to delete d3dcompiler_46.dll in the root directory of the game’s install

THE GAME GET DROPS FPS EVERY 1-3-4 SECONDS EVEN IN THE MENU AND LOWER GRAPHIC.

There alot reason could cause this happend but I will go to the most issue have. On May 13 Steam update introduced a networking change that causes it to ping the game for a DLC check too often, causing heavy stuttering and loss of fps/general instability. You could do this to fix:
1. Play offline or Steam offline mode(You couldn't play multiplayer if you do this).
2. Use the old steam version(Might get bug other games).
3. Use Menu Mods, for example: MTX. (Only for DLC spoof).

NAT TYPE ISSUE.

Most likely it is because Strict NAT Type you could do this:

Find a setting in your router called upnp and enable that. Then assign a static IP to your device in your router(somewhere in the DHCP settings, you'll need your device's MAC address for that) and forward all the ports listed on the official CoD port site to your new static IP.
Upnp is universal plug and play, you might get an open nat type with only this on MAC address is your device's physical address, you can find it in cmd "ipconfig /all" or by testing your network on console and viewing it on the test page or on your router's ip table DHCP assigns ip addresses to devices on the network automatically, though you can either exclude your device IP address from the DHCP range(and assign it directly to your device) or assign a static one through the DHCP.

It is a lot of reasons that hard to tell it could be your internet, it could be someone actively booting you off, minor network lag... I will rewrite this later if I have more info.

OTHER SETTINGS CANT CAN NOT BE CHANGED IN-GAME.

1. VideoMemory (can be raised to trade system usage for performance).
2. ResolutionPercent (limited to 100% at max screen resolution, can be 200%).
3. SpotShadowTextureSize (limited to 4096 at max, can be 8192).
4. OmniShadowTextureSize (limited to 512 at max, can be 2048).
5. ActorShadows (8 at max, can be 16).
6. VolumetricLightingMaxSunSamples (40 at max, can be 256).
7. VolumetricLightingMaxLightSamples (80 at max, can be 256).

LOWER GAME SIZE.

The best way to do this is just to remove DLC that you don't think you gonna play or use from steam DLC options. I recommended untick:

1.Call of Duty: Black Ops III - Campaign
2.Black Ops III - Multiplayer DLC Trial Pack
