Black Ops 3 Running As Background Process.

I have played this game on PC since the day it came out and have had ZERO issues with it, Until now. I haven't played the game for a while, Meaning I havent played the last two expansions and figured I would give em a try. So I reinstalled the game and Now everytime I go to click "Play" It starts up and then nothing. I look in my steam library to the left and it shows COD BO3 is running. I CTRL-ALT-DEL and It shows the game running as a background process. Everytime I start the game this happends. This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥! I verified the games cache which shows no issues. I did not reinstall it because I know this would be a waste of my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. Looked all over the internet and found people with the same problem but no fix. If anybody has a fix, Let me know. Thanks.

i have the same prob i got it to launch once and i played it but then my fun ended when it wouldnt launch the next day ;( i installed it to another hard drive and got it to work once now it doesnt

I have the same issue. I've uninstalled, deleted the folder from the steamapps directory, used ccleaner to clean the registry and reinstalled and nothing. added exemptions to my antivirus and still nothing. hope this is fixed soon.

Found a fix in another thread. You need to reset your network adaptors. You can find this under Network Settings in Windows 10

I'll check it out. I did stop the CAM app and the game did run but it crashed after 15min and ran like ♥♥♥♥. This is ridiculous.
