Black ops 3 Mods Level reset

I loaded a mod for zombies, but before I was going to try it out, I noticed me zombies levels, my weapon levels, and my gobblegum loadouts (I didnt loose the megas when I checked), where all reset back to square 1. Is this intentional for the sake of modding or is it a bug that needs resolving? And, more importantly, will playing the new level reset wipe the level i have on vinnila black ops 3 zombies?

Yes, it's intentional. It's UNRANKED.

And after you unload your mods, your rank will stay back the same as it was before. Don't worry.

K, thank you. Also, will anything level up in it's own section of your rankings, or will it stay perminitly at 1, cause, if i can level up the mods section, i wana work on the weapon unlocks. Also, do the megga gobblegums, if used in mods, be transfered to normal as well (will i lose em in mods)?
