Like this, make sure your sound driver is selected as Default Device and not Default Communication.

Are you using Razer with razer surround application? Or Logitech of any sound application? Check their settings as well if you do.
I made sure the driver is updated, everything is working (games, internet, spotify application, VLC, etc) but Black Ops III still doesn't work.
I'm not using Razer, but I have a software for a logitech headset. But I tried to reset it, put default seting etc, didn't work. I unistalled it, still not working.
I have two computer, my fix wich is working on Windows 7 and my MSI laptop on widow 10.
I don't have any problem on the fix computer, but on my laptop it's impossible to have sound on Black Ops III.
This is what I did so far to try to fix this problem on my laptop:
_Unistall driver, reinstall
_Plug headphone, run the game, unplug an replug the headphone
_Tried to change the playingdevice on windows
_Changed my sound in Stéréo, Mono, 5.1 , 7.1
_Desactivated all windows spécial sound effects and equalizer
There is one thing, many people told me, but I never found it. It's the default audio setting IN GAME, I don't have this in the game sound option, I have an equalizer, volume table, but nowhere where I can choose the output or input sound device in game.
Did I missed something ?
Thx again for your reply :) !
I'm using a MSI laptop :
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz
Memory: 16 GB @ 1066 MHz
- 8192 MB, DDR4-2133, SK Hynix HMA41GS6AFR8N-TF
- 8192 MB, DDR4-2133, SK Hynix HMA41GS6AFR8N-TF
Graphics: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530, 1024 MB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, 6144 MB
VBIOS Version: 86.06.0d.00.01,6291456
Drive: HDD, HGST HTS721010A9E630, 931,51 GB
Drive: SSD, KINGSTON RBU-SNS8152S3256GG5, 238,47 GB
The sound problem was from Nahimic 2 Audio Driver, witch is a software working with realtek on the MSI laptop.
The solution is to:
_Download the right Audio support from the MSI support website
_Launch the setup.exe of realtek, do everything the software tells you (it will first unistall your actual driver, then reboot computer, when you reboot, the software will lauch himself at the start and reinstall the last driver, then reboot again)
_Lauch the Nahimic 2 Audio Driver "setup.exe"
_Reinstall it
_Reboot system
_Probleme FIXED !
I hope this will help other people who has sound problems on their games on MSI compuetrs.
Bye bye useless COD community !
