BO4 help please
I haven't got anyone to confirm me this with me but I'm wanting to buy it but not so sure how it would run. I live in a rural area and as you should already know, my internet options are pretty ♥♥♥♥ed. The first game I ever bought from blizzard was diablo 3 and I can't play it because of my internet (it's pretty stupid how you can't play solo) Is this the same for bo4? I'm using hughesnet and my speeds are not good. If anything, I just want to play the damn thing solo and maybe with bots.

But yeah, can anyone confirm this? An offline mode would be pretty sick for me but I have my doubts. And if this is true then I'll see if I can maybe upgrade my plan to 25 mbps on huesnet to see if that'll do the trick (I just want to play solo, don't care much about playing with other people until I get out of this area)

Blackout is fun with friends
MP is kinda fun
Zombies is very fun

If you want to play on your own, then Zombies would be fun for you.The revamped perk system, specialist weapons and elixers system would make it fun for you. With this in mind I'd recommend that you get BO4 from somewhere else than Battlenet because how high in price it is, so just look on CDKeys or something.

Yeah, I'm pretty much a zombie player but the question I was aking was that could I play it with the internet that I have? Idk if they changed it compared to diablo 3 and I don't want to spend my money on it until otherwise.

It's less about speeds and more about if the connection is solid/always available. BO4 only uses about 60-80kB/s (less than 1mbps) of actual bandwidth at most, but if your connection cuts in and out constantly, you're gonna have a bad time.

I see from a quick search that HughesNet is a satellite provider. That may be your issue with D3. Satellite internet is never very stable and regardless of the bandwidth package you have, it's the instability of satellite and fact that the connection will cut in and out randomly that causes timeouts/disconnects in always online games.

BO4 on PC is a "game as a service" and requires a constant internet conection: https://www.reddit.com/r/Blackops4/comments/9p0chq/pc_offline_play/

You cannot even start the game without internet. Now, that may be patched to correct it later, but Treyarch is ignoring any questions or feedback about it right now, so most people are not hopeful that it's going to change.
