I agree. that's the perk I always make a grimace, when getting for free once killing george romero in call of the dead, or when wunderfizz in origins offers to me for my hard-earned 1500 points... imo, perks shouldn't be designed in a way to cause a difference between PC and console players. deadshot could have been a decent perk, if it gave a headshot damage bonus, instead of its current form which sounds like an insult for keyboard & mouse users.

mule kick in BO3 is often a poor choice, considering its price and the possibility of losing 3rd weapon once getting down. I think widow's wine having same price while being very good perk also made mule kick look worse. in zombie mode of BO2, and especially BO1, mule kick was a must have, for high-rounders in particular (strategies with PaP'ed crossbow or ballistic knives. ability to own 2 wonder weapons plus a point-maker gun as 3rd slot). in BO3, various gobblegums and double PaP effects indirectly (and substantially) nerfed mule kick.
Deadshot on cold war with controller is literal aimbot.
yeah, I've never bought tombstone when playing in tranzit, as the map was too big to run for it upon respawning; but tombstone was still nice to have it in town survival, mainly to by-pass the usual perk limit of 4.
yeah, speed cola has been a very important perk in WaW/BO1/BO2 (especially in smaller maps with lots of narrow spots), but I think the introduction of weapon attachments (fast mags, for speed cola) in BO3 made it less relevant. I know I sound like bashing BO3 for a silly reason, but I'd have preferred treyarch not adding this type of attachments with overlapping effects on existing perks, to keep the balance of perks people have been used to.
With the attachments, that does make speed cola even less viable, and maybe deadshot less needed as well, but deadshot + laser sight gives you a very accurate hipfire
