Why censor the Swastika

I like seeing those armbands on the zombies and I noticed they put the cross on that huge robot like it reminded me of something from Wolfenstein but damn they shouldn't of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rid of that. Hope they don't do the same for COD: WWII

I don't think they'll do it for COD: WW2, it wouldn't be realistic, nothing to worry about!

They won't because even if it's historically accurate they'd get banned from Germany, so they'd be incapable of making the few extra pennies that would line their wallets

Germany is the second or third largest market for CoD. Zombie Chronicles would have been banned in germany if they didnt remove the swastikas. However i dont know why they didnt just make 2 versions, like they did in cod 5 and black ops 1.

From what I read, it's removed in MP but kept in for the SP part of the game. But yes, personally I find it silly and the effort that they made to remove all it all is just... yeah. Like the original Richtofen, removed the swastika from his cap and even his armband, just a red patch now. Same goes with the zombies.
